Je m'appelle Ito Urara, j'ai fais des études à l'université d'art de Musashino à Tokyo Japon, c'est à ce moment là que j'ai commencé la céramique. J'ai appris les différentes techniques de tournage et de cuissons. Je vis à Nice depuis 12 ans, et j'ai ouvert mon atelier il y a 2 ans. Je me suis lancée après avoir passé quelques années à pratiquer de manière personnelle. Ma production est orientée art de la table avec des ouvertures pour la déco. Jusqu'ici j'ai surtout collaboré avec des restaurants. Puis je participe à quelques marchés des potiers. 

Production : Mes productions sont des arts de la table à partir de différents grés. Mon style est constitué de variations de forme et de taille qui peuvent être appliquées à une variété de cultures culinaires 

Je note les techniques utilisées dans mes productions : 

Fabrication : tournage à la main et modelage

Terre : grés, grés chamotte

Email : mat clair, mat blanc, couvert, Gosu, engobe blanc

Cuisson : four électrique , oxydantes 1260 degrée

Presentation : My name is Ito Urara, I studied at Musashino Art University in Tokyo, Japan, and that's when I started ceramics. I learned various throwing and firing techniques. I've been living in Nice for 12 years, and opened my workshop 2 years ago. I started out after spending a few years practicing on my own. My production is focused on tableware, with a few openings for decoration. So far, I've mostly worked with restaurants. Then I take part in a few potters' markets. 

Production: My products are tableware made from different types of stoneware. My style is made up of variations in shape and size that can be applied to a variety of culinary cultures 

I note the techniques used in my productions: 

Fabrication: hand-turning and modeling

Earth: sandstone, grog

Enamel: light matte, white matte, covered, Gosu, white slip

Firing: electric kiln, oxidizing 1260 deg.
